Okay, I totally do NOT wear my sunglasses at night and that is totally just a line from a song, but today I got creative with some sunglasses and decided to post about the results!Â
If you keep up with any trends, you may have noticed that embellished sunglasses have suddenly become very popular. I’ve seen a few pairs I liked, what I didn’t like, however, was the price tag!Â
If you’re like me and want to get something bang on trend but don’t want to fork out loads of cash (that you may not have) then here is what you do.Â
Go to a $2 shop/Pound land (or the equivalent for what country you’re in) and pick up a cheap pair of sunglasses. This works best with thicker rimmed glasses as there’s more space for your embellishments.Â
Pick up some superglue/silicon glue and some beads of your choice and you’re ready to start!Â
All you have to do is dip your beads into the glue and stick onto the glasses as desired.Â
Tip:Â I found using tweezers to dip my beads into the glue and stick them on made it a lot easier.Â
Here’s the results from my experimentation with this and I’m really happy with how they turned out!
